Twenty years ago, A Bathing Ape founder NIGO opened his very first venture on the backstreets of Harajuku which would eventually pave the way for the foundation of the now famous streetwear label. A large-scale 20th anniversary celebration is in the works as 20 select artists and creatives have been tapped to create a range of T-shirts and artworks to commemorate the event. Starting April 27 for three days, NIGO will showcase the works of the aforementioned APE HEADS through canvas and T-shirts at the T-SITE Garden Gallery TSUTAYA in Daikanyama. Soon afterwards the products will be available via BAPE stores globally and ZOZOTOWN. The list of artists can be seen below:
